Yes, 5 days is perfect in Morocco if you don’t have much time. You may not be able to explore the entire country (of course) but will have just enough time to get a feel of its highlights. However, if you want to explore more, don’t hesitate to extend your itinerary to 7 or 10 days. That way, you can add cities like Fes and Essaouira, too 😁

Yup, with my trip, I found out that Morocco can be a relatively affordable destination to visit, especially if you’re coming from Europe/North America. The costs for accommodation, food, and transport are reasonable.

Plus, there are options for both backpackers and luxury travelers. For example, you can find riads (that won’t dig a hole in your pocket) in the medinas of Marrakech and Casablanca. Dining at local eateries and street food stalls is also super cheap. On the other hand, you can make luxury choices, like the Four Seasons resort, and there are options for expensive guided tours, too.

Absolutely! Morocco is known for being a tourist-friendly destination — as evident from Moroccan hospitality, which is a part of the culture. You’ll find locals welcoming and always eager to help. In fact, most popular tourist areas, like Marrakech, have well-established tourism infrastructures. For example, guides and tours. Plus, English, French, and Spanish are widely spoken in tourist areas (which is why we were able to communicate easily during our trip).
