For me, the convenience outweighed the sometimes touristy vibe, especially since this was my first visit. But if you prefer quieter, more residential areas, you may want to look at places like Príncipe Real, Estrela, or Alfama.

Dinner Isn’t as Good as Breakfast

The “room service” at this hotel is basically a delivery service from outside the property. The menu is fairly limited and doesn’t really highlight Portuguese food, which was a bit of a miss for me.

On the night of my longest tour, I didn’t have the energy to go out, so I ordered a club sandwich for dinner. It was actually tasty, but I only chose it because nothing else on the menu appealed to me.

Given how good the breakfast in the dining room was, this was definitely a surprise.

If you have the energy, I’d definitely recommend eating out for lunches and dinners instead. Lisbon is known for its incredible restaurants, and eating out will almost always be the better option.

This Is a Boutique Hotel, Not a Big Chain

The hotel is modern, clean, and comfortable, but it’s still a boutique property, which means:

For me, this was totally fine. The hotel was beautiful and charming, and the staff was so friendly.
